Bare Tracks Q and A

Well here’s some of the stuff we’ve been asked about Bare Tracks all ready if you have questions about us that haven't been covered by this site please feel free to contact us and ask.

1: "Do we need to own a four wheel drive to join Bare Tracks?"

There is no requirement for Bare Tracks members to own a four wheel drive vehicle. Many members do own these types of vehicles and use them for access to places not normally available to conventional vehicles and for towing camper trailers or caravans. A lot of our activities can be done in a conventional vehicle and in the cases where a four wheel drive is required for short distances there's normally someone with a spare seat or two.

2: "What sort of four wheel driving do you do?"

Most of the members of Bare Tracks who have four wheel drives have stock standard vehicles with little more than convenience options like GPS navigators and reversing cameras. Given that most of the members use their cars during the week we like to try to keep them intact so the level of off road activity is fairly mild for the most part. However you can expect to see the sands of Samurai and if adventurous some outback tracks.

3: "What is the member's ages?"

Bare Tracks members range in age from couples in their 20's to those in their 60's. Add to this the children and grand children who often attend some of our events and you get a very diverse range indeed. It should also be noted that on the whole nudists vary rarely act their age.
