With members arriving at various times though it wasn't long before Lake Lumley started looking like a true camp ground with a wide variety of vans and tents, around the area.

With members arriving at various times though it wasn't long before Lake Lumley started looking like a true camp ground with a wide variety of vans and tents, around the area.

The construction of the shower block was high on the agenda, and was completed over several days.

It was not all work however, with plenty of time spent relaxing on the grass around the Lake, or in the pool and on several evenings we had the camp ovens out and had a feast that was highly enjoyed by us all, before the usual sit around the fire pit.

On a few days we also had visits to Samurai & Shelly Beaches.

New Years Eve was celebrated at Clarence Town Bowling Club, which was one of the only times we had to wear clothing. The night started a little slow but concluded on a high as we welcomed in 2004.

All in all a fairly relaxing time was had and we would like to thank Martin & Margaret for the use of their property. Lake Lumley is certainly starting to take shape, if you haven't had a visit, do yourselves a favour, and get there.
